The Paul Hunter Centre has been part of the Central Hawke’s Bay community since 1994, supporting adults with disabilities to live connected, meaningful, and fulfilling lives. We work alongside people with a wide range of support needs, including intellectual, physical, sensory, and mental health disabilities.

Our purpose is simple: to support people to live a Good Life — one that reflects their strengths, preferences, and aspirations. We focus on participation, inclusion, and opportunities that build confidence, independence, and wellbeing.

What We Offer
  • Inclusive day programmes for adults with disabilities living in Central Hawke’s Bay
  • Support to develop practical life skills and community confidence
  • Activities that promote social connection, learning, creativity, and wellbeing
  • A welcoming environment where people can belong, contribute, and thrive
